Washington County fills the southwest corner of Utah: 180,279 people at the 2020 census, a hub city and a ring of smaller towns, from about 2,700 feet at Washington to about 3,900 at Springdale. Three landscapes meet here, the Colorado Plateau, the Great Basin and the Mojave Desert, and the ground shows it in red sandstone, black lava and river bottom.
Greater Zion, the area’s tourism office, counts 19 communities across more than 2,400 square miles, four state parks beyond Zion itself, and 14 golf courses within a 20-mile radius. St. George is the hub, with the university and the regional airport. West of it lie Santa Clara, Ivins and Kayenta; east of it, Washington; and up the Virgin River toward Zion, Hurricane, La Verkin and Toquerville.
Each place has its own water, zoning and character: Ivins and Kayenta beneath Snow Canyon, historic Santa Clara, Hurricane between two reservoir state parks, La Verkin and Toquerville on the road to Zion, and the newer neighborhoods of Washington and St. George. We represent buyers and sellers across all of them, with the same care we give our home ground.
